1. As a writer, do you like to experience the sexual acts that you write about in order to write about them convincingly? The short answer is yes, although I think I do a better job at writing a sexual act I am yet to experience. An author is limited by their experience if they are writing about how they felt during the act but if it is something that’s in an author’s mind, that act has no boundaries. Most of my work is purely driven by how the characters feel about each other and what they want to do to each other!
2. Are there any sexual acts that you have written about that you are yet to experience? If so, what? And do you think you ever will? Totally! There are so many I am yet to experience and I’m not sure if I want to experience all of them. I want some to leave the way I have thought about in my mind. ;)
3. What about an erotic scene in a book turns you on the most? The Kiss!! I enjoy the scene depending on how hard and deep the kiss is before everything else gets started.
4. Does your partner (if you have one) know you write erotica? If so, do they read your work? If they do, do they find it arousing? Yes, he does but refuses to read my work.
5. Have you ever turned yourself on writing one of your own sex scenes? Definitely elevates my senses!
6. Do you ever read one handed? And not because you are stirring the Bolognese ;) No!!
7. What’s the naughtiest, dirtiest thing you have ever written? Give us an excerpt or tell us about the scene. One of my favourites is in my book and it starts off with an angry and rough sex and the sister interrupts their tryst. It’s a cute naughty after because the sister tries to set her up with the guy she was about to have sex with before the sister crashed their party.
8. What’s the naughtiest, dirtiest book you have ever read? I loved Alexa Riley’s Mechanic. Something about greasy hands and men who fix cars.
9. Do you use porn as a stimulant for writing erotic scenes? No.
10. Are there any consensual sexual acts that you would never write about? If so, why not? I probably will not write the Father daughter or an older man younger woman with that uncle niece dynamic. Can’t stomach it.
11. Do you find certain erotic/sexual scenes hard to write? E.g. M/M, F/F, anal sex, bondage. I am yet to get to an erotic scene that I will find it hard to write but that is only because I write what I am comfortable with all the way. I have not ventured into the categories mentioned in the question and I know I will find it hard and challenging, but in a good way.
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer our naughty questions, PG.
We hope you had fun ;)
